A Joyful Army of Six

We are Brian and Cara Bergeron. We currently live, homeschool, work, and play soccer in beautiful Southcentral Oregon. We are children of God, children of two marvelous sets of parents who are still happily married, children of the '80s, children who fell in love when we were but children, children who have inherited four unexpected and undeserved blessings from the Lord--Brandt, Gresham, Seth, and Evangeline. Together we are (as Eva will tell you with a shout) "in the Lord's army. Lethirrrr!"

Two More Weeks and Counting

This is the water heater that runs the radiant system (see all of the manifolds) and our domestic hot water. I only include this for you engineering types who are actually interested in this stuff.

The fireplace is nearly finished. FP is installed. Tile is finished. Mantle is installed but I still need to stain/seal the corbels to match the mantle. Trim still has to be painted.

The great room now has tongue & groove on the ceiing, trim is finished and painted, beams are in place and stained (nothing is sealed yet), drywall is complete, lighting is up in a few spots, and the paint is halfway done in this room but nearly complete in the rest of the house. The concrete floor has not yet been stained.

Gresham standing next to the frame for his built-in bed (one of the ones that caused the leak in the PEX?)

Garage door was installed yesterday.

Remember the Mary Englebreit bedroom you painted for us? Boy, weren't those fun, uncomplicated days. We still have the dressers and bird houses, and they are now in Bernie's shabby chic bedroom. Did I tell you that I was heading out overseas with the Holmquists AND the Burrises?!?!? ::::::running around the house screaming hallelujah!:::::

Yes, your other (previous) post made me laugh - and Eric - so hard!!!! Yes, I guess adultery is technically stealing. Way to go Seth!

Come shoot me an opinion of my logo mock-ups over at my blog when you have a chance. I'd love to know your thoughts!

I know this will be a busy month for you guys! Enjoy it and know that we are praying for you!

We are all in suspense waiting for you to show us what it looks like now! I was browsing earlier this morning. I noticed that the day before you moved out of your old house Brandt was wearing the t-shirt that Gresham was wearing right before you moved in the new house! A lot has changed since then, and you guys finally made it! Love you all!

Moving out...

...and moving in!
